Located in Luanda, Angola, The Summit is a luxury residential development defined by a bold sculptural design language, expressive structural forms and a strong emphasis on proportion, materiality and architectural detail. The design challenges conventional apartment architecture through an arrangement of interlocking volumes, dramatic cantilevers and carefully articulated façades.

Substantial horizontal concrete slabs extend beyond the primary structure, forming generous private terraces and deep overhangs. Prominent vertical planes intersect these elements, creating a dynamic composition of solid forms, recessed glazing and contrasting depths.

Intricately patterned architectural screens introduce texture and refinement to the façades, providing privacy and solar protection while filtering natural light into the residences. Their geometric detailing creates a subtle interplay of transparency, light and shadow.

The apartments feature generous internal spaces with full-height glazing opening onto expansive terraces, establishing a close relationship between interior and exterior living. At the upper levels, dramatic floating roof structures distinguish the penthouse residences, creating a striking architectural silhouette.

Integrated landscaping softens the building’s geometric forms, while a restrained palette of finely textured concrete, glass and detailed metalwork reinforces its contemporary character. Together, these elements establish a cohesive architectural identity that balances strong structural expression with the refinement and spatial quality of contemporary luxury living.
