Designed in close collaboration with the client, every aspect of this home was carefully considered to support accessibility, comfort, and independent living. The layout eliminates level changes wherever possible, allowing seamless movement throughout the primary living spaces without stairs or weather steps. A bespoke hydraulic lift, finished with minimalist wall paneling, integrated lighting, and carefully selected flooring, provides effortless access between levels while complementing the home’s refined interior.

Responding to Pinnacle Point’s strong coastal winds, the design is organized around a sheltered internal courtyard that forms the social heart of the residence. Protected from the elements, this space creates a comfortable environment for entertaining and everyday living, while linking the kitchen, dining, and living areas into a cohesive whole. A raised swimming pool and adjacent seating platform are designed for ease of access, with concealed lighting beneath the pool steps enhancing the home’s clean architectural expression.

The roofscape combines floating concrete slabs with mono-pitched forms to create a distinctive architectural identity while maximizing natural daylight and passive solar performance within the living spaces and main bedroom. Sustainability is integrated throughout the home with discreetly concealed technologies, including solar water heating, battery backup systems, and rainwater harvesting, reducing environmental impact without compromising the purity of the design.
